acer spin 3 54n charger is getting hot to a point where it make the plastic melt.

i can only use it for about 10 minute before it getting too hot. its the original charger

A charger should never get to that point, something is wrong. Do you have a different, compatible charger you can try instead? What Spin 3 model do you have? It should be something like SP3xx-xxx-xxxx and the full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number. Most of the Spin 3 models use either a 45W or 65W 19V charger...

Same thing just happened here. 11 months old to the date. They’ve told me to send it back for repair but aren’t open until the 6th of Jan. Its just lucky my daughter was using it and it wasn’t just charging on its own.
