Aspire A515-47 SATA cable and caddy for 2.5 inch SSD

Does the Acer Aspire A515-47 laptop come with a little plastic bag that contains a SATA cable and caddy for a 2.5 inch SSD? I've seen videos on YouTube which says those items should be in the box but there is not one in my box.

Hi,

There's no 2.5" HDD bay in this model, you have a spare M.2 NVMe SSD slot available for upgrade.

I did contact Acer customer support about this but the man didn't have a clue what I was talking about and insisted that I should contact Argos who would be responsible for that. I was surprised that the guy who actually works for Acer had no idea and was not willing to talk to his colleagues about it too. Perhaps you could get a job at Acer support because you know more about their products than the chap I talked to. 😊Thanks again.

You are most welcome, yes, it could be that it's a fairly new model and he wasn't aware of this minor change 🙂

Is it only upgradable to 1 tb. Is there one Ssd 512gb or 2 x 256gb Ssd installed

must it be the same size for the Pair? And why can´t the support give me a service manual?

and why doesn’t the support know anything about this model, when the 46 model is well documented.
