SF514-54T Where I purchase the same AC adapter that came with my laptop?

I'm wondering if I can purchase the charger for my laptop directly from Acer or if I can find an AC adapter with the same specifications. I bought a replacement AC adapter and it produces a lot of noise when I use my laptop with audio equipment. I'm looking to find a good quality AC adapter. Thanks.

The replacement AC adapter I have has:

    INPUT: 100-240V~1.8A-0.6A

    Output: 19V 3.42A

The stock supply for your system uses a 45W 19V with 1.1x3.0x7.7 center positive barrel connector. Any supply that meets those specs will work, as should ones that can supply higher amperage. Note that a 65W supply, for instance, won't charge faster than the stock one, since the computer itself will only pull the 45W needed. The thing to look out for with third party replacements is that many of them have a 1.35mm center hole instead of a 1.1mm. The larger hole versions will work, but are much more likely to be intermittent because they will have less side pressure on the center electrode.

Acer has a bunch of different part numbers for the stock supply, since they bought them from several different vendors, and sometimes they used different supplies for different locales.

Is there an official Acer dealer that I can buy a genuine charger from? A link would be greatly appreciated

Official sources for spare parts are different for each locale, so it's always better to get that info from Acer support for your country.
