Your AN515-55 has 8GB ram with a 1x 8GB module of DDR4-2933MHz type ram, you first need to install CPUz and look at this software's Memory and SPD Slot #1 sections of your ram's specs, after, search the web and try to buy the exact matching and the same ram module like manufacturer and part number. If you can't get a matching module (don't worry about the manufacturer) but make sure to get the same speed and specs especially the CAS# Latency (CL) matching to your existing ram. The best is to do a Crucial System Scan as this scan will always give you the most compatible ram and very close to what Acer fitted as OEM ram to your laptop.

These are the Acer SG Memory Specs for your Nitro 5 AN515-55

CPUz "Memory Section" that you should look at, this is an example only for a DDR4-3200MHz type ram at CL22 and what you should look at

Belwo is a caption of what a CPUz SPD Slot #1 should look like, and you should match the RAMs Module Manuf and Part Number (but the manufacturer is not compulsory but preferable, as long as the ram is exactly the same specs) as having two different ram speeds will always make the memory run at the lowest speed e.g. if you have 1x module of DDR4-2666MHz and 1x DD4-2933Mhz your ram will run at DDR4-2666Mhz total speed and not in Dual Channel like its shown with the CPUz captions shown in the captions, where this laptop is running 2x 8GB DDR4-3200MHz in Dual Channel.
