there is a red line of bottom of my screen can someone explain what this is and how to fix this

There is a red line of bottom of my screen it appears when i run my monitor at 165hz but when i switch it to 144hz it goes away and it was not like this a week ago

    Hard to tell. Might be PC. Might be cable. Might be monitor. Might even be caused by an update.

    Try this. Shut down Windows normally. Re-seat the video cable a few times to help clean connector contacts. Then turn the monitor on first. Wait a minute or so. Then turn the PC on. See if it disappears.

    Ive already tried with different cable its still there , I am not sure about update part. How do i check that?

    Open Control Panel. Search 'restore point'. Click 'create a restore point' in left pane. If System Protection is turned on in the box that pops up, click the System Restore button. Click next. Do you see a restore point with a date stamp approximately when you first noticed the red line?
