Hello everybody,

so as it's stated in the title, I have trouble with switching the refresh rate of the display on my laptop Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57. It only shows the option of running on 64Hz. I tried all of the usual fixes, going to nVidia control panel etc...I've switched the PhysX configuration to nVidia rtx 3050, but it still shows that laptop display is sourced from Microsoft basic display adapter. When i run dxdiag it also states that the used device is Microsoft basic display adapter . Does anyone have an idea on how to switch that? The display definitely supports 144Hz but i guess the intel integrated graphics can't run on that rate.

All suggestions are welcome, thanks.

It may not be limited by the GPU. The AN515-57 came with various refresh rate maximums from 60Hz to 165Hz. Do you know which 144Hz LCD display that you have from the list below? See if you can force using the nvdia GPU by temporarily disabling the integrated GPU in Device Manager Display Adatper folder.
