The last bios for your A515-51G that you installed the Version: 2.02 is not only a bios update but also a gpu vbios and the firmware update to the Intel Management Engine which is an embedded microcontroller (integrated on some Intel chipsets) running a lightweight microkernel operating system that provides a variety of features and services for Intel processor–based computer systems.

This bios update updates the following:

    1. Microcode update.
    2. Update VBIOS for NV_17S_G0(V86.08.2D.00.41)、NV_17S_G2(V86.08.2D.00.42).
    3. Update Intel ME Firmware 11.8.55.3510.
    4. Add SCCM solution.
    5. Change touch pad mode from basic to advance for linux sku.

You can’t enable or disable Intel Turbo Boost on your A515-51G-870R as there are no bios settings to do this. You can try to resolve your cpu turbo boost freezing problems by updating the Intel ME driver to the latest Intel® Management Engine Drivers for Windows 10* and Windows 11* and installing the Intel Driver & Support Assistant and doing a scan to make sure that all Intel drivers are up to date. As this freezing laptop problem is because your drivers are either not up to date or are corrupted and you need to make sure that all windows updates are up to date, all Intel drivers are up to date and all Nvidia drivers are up to date.
