Hi,

I currently have the Acer Orion 3000, PO3-620 with the 2060 super GPU and 10700 CPU.

I've been wanting to fit a new graphics card, but I have questions about the power supply.

The GPUs I've been looking at are the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Eagle OC 2.0 LHR and ASUS Dual AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT OC Edition.

Would the 500w power supply be able to support either of these graphics cards while under heavy load

Also, if anyone knows the exact model of the 2060 super currently fitted that would be great!

All 3 cards consume about the same maximum power at full speed. Between 170-180 watts. So if your supply handled the 2060 super OK, then it'll be fine with either the 3060 or 6650.

The exact factory installed 2060 would've been part no. DA.20611.002 or the NVIDIA part RTX 2060 GDDRVI 6GB ATX PCI-EX16 DP DP DP HDMI DVI-D BLK 288-5N520-X00A8. You can also verify this by pressing WIN+R. Enter 'msinfo32'. Expand components folder in left pane. Click Display subfolder. Scroll down in right pane to reveal the nvidia description
