I have an Aspire R15x worked fine yesterday. Today I turned it on and put my password in, started like usual and then screen went blank. Couldn’t get anything to come up so did a hard shutdown and now it won’t startup.

Help!

Do a hard reset and take the battery out and the TRC/bios battery out and also the ram leaves them disconnected for 10min and reconnect then also see if the eDP cable is not damaged or disconnected or its plugs shorted in any way at the mobo or the screen sides, as if the data cables are broken or shorted this could cause your problem. your laptop needs to be checked and analyzed thoroughly in all those aspects by an experienced technician.

    Remove main battery

    Remove RTC battery

Inspect and/or replace the EDP CABLE below is the OEM R5-571TG cable
