I have an Acer Nitro XV272U Pbmiiprzx monitor (the Pbmiiprzx is the important part), the screen is too dim if I don't enable HDR in Windows settings and max the HDR brightness.
If I do enable Windows HDR and max out the HDR brightness, the screen reaches the advertised brightness, this is fine for my main pc with a 2060 Super, however, HDR brightness is nonexistent on macOS devices, same with macOS devices with older GPUs, same with older Windows PCs with older HDMI/DP ports that don't support HDR.
My monitor has 4 USB A ports, which means I should technically be able to update the firmware as I've seen with other XV272U monitors, however, my question is where can I get that firmware for my monitor? I have the updated firmware {XV272U KV_XB273UNV_VG272UV_XV272UV_XB323QUNV_XV322QUKV_Monitor_USB_Upgrade_Tool) for said devices, however, it doesn't work on my device, the program doesn't detect my monitor, I have tried at least 5 different computers, same issue.
The service menu shows that I have a XV272U P model, a RTD2797UP chip, a INX M270KCJ K7E panel, and the monitor is running 0.04 firmware version, not sure if this helps.
