Yes, this Seagate Barracuda SATA-3 6GB/s spinner HDD is fully compatible with the 1x SATA HDD space that your AN515-54 has, but it depends for what you want to use this spinner HDD for? As this drive is only best to be used as a secondary slave storage drive only, as this drive is not fast enough for gaming and/or editing use for your AN515-54 to work at its best performance. In my opinion, the best way that you can fully utilize your AN515-54s 2x M.2 PCIe 3 x2 slots is to upgrade to the newest NVMe PCIe 3 x 4 M.2 drives which will work 100% and best with your laptop, and put an additional M.2 2TB PCIe 3 x4 type drive that will give you full performance of your laptop and be a better drive than a 2TB spinner HDD like this Seagate Barracuda.

Btw, I've got this drive and I'm using it as a storage drive ONLY with my AN515-56 while I've got a 1TB Samsung 970 Pro PCIe x4 boot drive and the secondary M.2 drive is a 2TB WD NS-750 PCIe 3 x4 for gaming and editing as these PCIe 3 x4 are the quickest and the most compatible for my AN515-56, even though there are new and quicker PCIe 4 x4 type M.2 drives and buying those would be a waste of money, as my AN515-56 will never ever utilise this drives read/write speeds.
