Aspire E-575 laptop screen suddenly went green and startup also green including BIOS.

Folks/Experts,

My Aspire E series E-575 laptop screen suddenly gone green and it will start up also green now to BIOS screen.

Initially I thought some software/OS possibly driver issue though I don't recall any significant change I did to my Linux OS installed but now it would start with full green even in bios screen too .

Out of warranty now and some suggestions say video cable loose at back of LCD panel screen etc.

Is there a BIOS test i can run to see if display/video any hardware issue?

Kindly help with any pointers or suggestions.

1. Note: I did search ,got few hits but none clearcut in response or indicated solved so asking here

OS is Ubuntu OS 18.04 LTS if it matters

2. There was no damage to any part recently and I use it light browsing only.

All basic troubleshooting didn't clear like pressing power button for few seconds,atl CTL del key combos, etc

Hi,

Could you be able to connect to an external display/TV with HDMI cable and check whether you get normal display in external monitor? If you get a good display, your panel needs to be replaced, also check the display cable and reseat it and see whether there's any change.
