What is the display resolution for my Acer Nitro VG271 P gaming monitor

I purchased this monitor from Amazon and the description on the website says it's a 1080p monitor. Nvidia Geforce Experience keeps defaulting my optimization settings for my games to a 4K resolution. It recently set Far Cry 6 to a 4K resolution and the game was displaying just fine. I'm wondering if i've actually purchased a 4K monitor and Amazon's description was simply wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Specs suggest 1920x1080 resolution is needed in order to achieve 144Hz maximum refresh rates. However, it may display higher resolutions at lower rates that might not adversely or noticeably affect some games.

I believe it only does 1920x1080, at various vertical frequencies. No higher resolution even at lower refresh rates.

Nope, the display itself does 1920x1080 at various refresh rates. To do higher resolutions you need more pixels.

Production changes from original specs are possible without notice.
