Acer Aspire E5-772-3519 touchpad disappeared. Uninstalled & re-installed driver. Still no go.

My laptop is an Acer Aspire E5-772-3519. Touchpad lost after installing and reinstalling drivers after problems.

My Touchpad has disappeared from the Device list and I can't get it back. It has been a problem recently. I uninstalled it and downloaded the 2016 software several times but it hasn't reappeared. It is not hidden. The available driver on your website is very old. How can I get more up to date driver and howw can II get back the missing Touchpad device.My laptop is an Acer Aspire E5-772-3519. The Acer Touchpad Driver be it Synaptics or ELANTECH (whichever you have) should have been installed into your laptops OS and if its missing and/or not working, then you need to reinstall the OEM software by right clicking on the Device Manager touchpad driver and reinstalling it again from the installed Synaptics or ELANTECH drivers that your laptop has within your OS or install the Acer appropriate driver again. If the Touchpad Drivers is not listed in Device Manager, then you need to go to Device Manager > Actions > Add legacy hardware and install the appropriate Acer OEM touchpad (driver Synaptics or ELANTECH) to your laptop again and with a fresh install.

There are no new touchpad drivers for your laptop as the Acer OEM touchpad provided for your Aspire E5-772-3519 drivers are the ones that work 100% with your laptop. Also check if your touchpad cable is connected 100% and is not faulty/dislodged from its mobo slot, as its very rare when a touchpad doesn't work that the software is the cause of a touchpad not working as most of the time its the hardware!

I looked under Legacy hardware and could not see anything like Touchpad or pointing devices. If it's an actual repair job then it's at its terminal as it's too old to spend money on.
