Hello acer community,
From the Microsoft updates tab in Windows 10, I've been receiving updates to Windows 11 since October of 2021. As Windows 11 was just launched and not optimized, I ignored it. On July of 2022, I attempted installing Windows 11 and everything went well. However, there is an issue I encountered no matter what, Acer Nitro Sense goes crazy and the fans bump up to 5000-4500 rpm even at idle. It becomes very much noisy. I tried upgrading to windows 11 from the windows 11 Installation media which can be downloaded officially from Microsoft but even that could not save the Nitro sense from going crazy. When I revert back to windows 10 everything becomes normal and fans barely reach above 2000 rpm at idle ( Since the temperature here is sometimes cold ) .
My usual procedure after upgrading to Windows 11 from Windows 10 is as follows:
Keeping Nvidia graphics drivers up-to-date
Nitro Sense should be uninstalled and reinstalled
Windows 11: Turning off all the unnecessary privacy options
Checking power settings
Please Let me know what I am doing wrong or am I missing some crucial steps . My full system specs are below
Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54
Intel Core i5 9300H
GTX 1650 4GB
16GB DDR 4 2666mhz Dual channel ram ( 2 x 8 GB )
1 Kingston A2000 1TB Nvme SSD
1 Crucial 2200 256GB Nvme SSD ( for the OS )
1 Seagate Barracuda Hard drive for storage
Thanks.
