I bought two days ago an acer aspire 5 win 11 and need to use it with Microsoft Teams for online teaching.

I can't share music videos because the audio gets mono and then switches terribly and is really, really terrible. Impossible to listen at. and annoying. at one point I got only the voice and the instrumental part, maybe recorded on different levels, got completely off, and it seamed like that singer was singing a capella...totally weird.

If I use it on my own I am satisfied, without sharing the screen, everything works fine... but unfortunately I need it for work.

What can I do?

It is not about Microsoft Teams or connection, cause lessons are great, fluid and I can hear and see my students. Those videos worked perfectly till I used my old-Asus-product (that unfortunately got broken)

This problem is only when I need to show videos from youtube/or other music video provider. And it doesn't matter if I use headphones or not: as soon as I try to share musicvideos it is literally sh... impossible to understand the songtext and so bad quality

anyone out there has experienced the same nightmare?

hugs.

Hard to say. There are dozens of A5 models. And many, particularly those that were also offered with Win10, have had similar but still unresolved Win11 issues. Simply because Win11 is still manly a work in progress relative to Win10. . If it was my situation, I would immediately return it to the vendor as not meeting my needs for a refund or exchange. Do this before the vendor's RMA (return merchandise authorization) period expires. Usually only a few weeks at most.
