Hello,

I have an acer swift 1 sf114-32 and can't get my Dell s2209w to detect it via an hdmi to DVI cable. This same cable is able to connect my

dell latitude 3510 successfully to the same monitor.

Any solutions?

Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately the old Dell monitor and old Dell laptop are not compliant with the modern HDMI digital signal copyright protection protocol designed to prevent unauthorized video copying. You might be able to get it to work with an HDMI splitter. Splitters often blocks this protocol signal so the video signal can be used by a DVI monitor.
