Two of my three Acer Nitro XV272U Pbmiiprzx 27" gaming monitors will no longer power on. Please help

Bought three of these monitors, one went dark two months back and I finally bought another brand to replace this one, fearing that more troubles were on the way for me. Sadly that happened this morning when while I was adjusting the color settings on my 2nd Acer monitor it too went dark and will now no longer power on. No blue light, no nothing.

I've tried the unplug and hold the power button for 30 seconds then plug back in method and that hasn't worked at all for either one. No other ideas what to try. How long before my third Acer monitor dies? Probably not long now I suppose.

Does anyone have an ACTUAL solution to this? Please please please would like to rescue these monitors somehow.

OK. But don't get too carried away with it especially if it's anything more serious than the power board. Used & refurbished XV 27" series are pretty cheap. Even NOS sold by some ebay vendors are ~$150usd.

If pressing/holding the NAVIgation key and switching power cables with the good monitor still shows no signs of life and no orange/blue LED activity, then the power board is the most likely suspect. The board only has a non-Acer part no.  PLPCHI541KQ7C from this Asian supplier. Because it's an old WinVista era design and parts, probably only available used by google searching xv272u & power board for vendors who ship to your location.

Even if I got new power boards, I have no instructions on getting the monitor apart to get to the board. I made some minor progress with the plastic tools in one corner but I'm hesitant to do more without some specific info as to how the front and back pieces are attached to each other. Any info?

Also, if it's just one component on the board I'd possibly spot it and replace myself rather than the whole board.

What are the results of the NAVI button and LED activity tests?

No lights. nothing. On the plus side I finally figured out how to pop apart the front and back and have access to the power board. I'm still reviewing some macro shots of the components looking for an issue. Might be on to something but still not sure yet. Gonna take better photos of the component connection tomorrow under better lighting conditions.

OMG. I'm probably the most embarrassed of anyone ever.

Turns out I was mistakenly using the OSD button to try to get the monitors to come back on. I had a huge brain fart and had forgotten the power button is the top-most one on the back.

So.......issue resolved as user error. 😆

Thanks to all those who commented.

As a side note, I now have experience taking this model apart so if you have any questions let me know. LOL

Hey im just coming across your post now and would appreciate a detailed instruction on how to remove the back plate of the monitor. I have the same 27" xv272u model and I cant find any information online about taking it apart. This would help me out a lot, thanks!

Thank you for this!! It seems fairly straightforward. What about the 5th screw by the bottom? It seems like that needs to be removed as well
