Hi all,
My Acer Swift314-42 has been going through updates for the past week and over the past 3 days whenever my laptop is in sleep mode for more than 30 seconds, it restarts. I upgraded to Windows11 in January and have had no problems until now.
I've scanned for viruses and tried every solution on these pages:
https://www.minitool.com/backup-tips/windows-11-random-restart.html
but so far nothing seems to work.
Currently, I have gone back to a previous build and my laptop is asking for the WIndows 11 22H2 update. At the same time, my system says it is running Windows11 22H2... but still, my laptop restarts...
What else should I try?

The same problem occurs, when you restore windows to last week?
Yes, the same problem occurs :(
Next time it does the restart note the time, then open Event Viewer to see if anything shows up just before the restart.
Hi, thank you for you comment. I have event manager open and in Custom Views at the times of restart, it shows various Errors but I do not know what to do with this information.
Most of the errors aren't likely the problem, which makes it tougher. The key to look for is the timing. The error should happen within less than a second or so of the actual restart. Most of the rest of the errors will be just after the restart.
Update your BIOS to latest version and it should be okay.
