    Hello!!

    @weirdscenes,

    You can contact Acer Technical Support in your region to check availability of Recovery Media. If it is available, you can directly place order from them.

    Regards,

    Hi @weirdscenes

    You can boot up your laptop with someone else's USB recovery flash drive. Locate a person that is using the same OS that is on your Aspire 6935 (like Windows 11 Home or Windows 10 prof. never mind the build) and borrow his USB recovery drive or ask to make a FAT32 USB recovery drive for you with W7 Backup or with Windows 11 programs (see attached).

    After you boot with this Recovery USB disk and cannot repair or reset your failed HDD (assuming you don't have a backup on an external drive to restore from) you need to bring your laptop to a PC repair shop or Acer Service point to completely reinstall your system (firmware, drivers, OEM Windows, etc.). Before you do that remove your failed HDD mount that HDD in an external USB3.0 HDD case (very cheap) and download all your personal files to another computer. Then reformat the failed HDD and reinstall the empty drive in your Aspire 6935 for service. This way you won't lose any data and your privacy is safe.
