Hi All,

Has anyone had any luck and been able to get F.lux working with the W510 Tablet or has been able to find a utility that will allow the adjustment of brighness to optimize usage of a table for night use or reading. It's probably a compatibility issue with the current drivers, but figured i ask, maybe someone has found the right level of driver levels and settings and made it work.

Thanks!

Laz.

isn't settings charm>screen a good enough brightness option for you?

The OP didn't accurately describe the purpose of f.lux.  It's not to adjust the 'brightness', rather it's to automatically alter the colour temperature of the display based upon the local sunset/sunrise times to make it more comfortable upon the eyes at night.

To answer the OP, no, f.lux does not currently work with these Intel drivers.  A solution will ether come from a new supporting verion of  f.lux by its developers or a change in a future driver release from Intel.  Either way, I wouldn't hold your breath for a resolution.

Thanks for the reply. This will be a killer feature. Hope someone does the work necessary to make it work in the future.
