The USB port with the battery symbol means that you can use this port for power-off-charging for connected USB devices. It is not possible to charge your laptop with this port. So probably, your USB port is damaged.

    Hi @Mazy_Moe

@wascas is right, your USB 3.0 is damaged so you have to use now the 2nd USB 3.0 or the USB 2.0 port on the right side to connect USB devices, don't try to charge this laptop with USB chargers, the only way to charge it is with the round pin port at the top left side.

Your battery is probably dead also, open the back of your laptop (11 screws) and disconnect the battery plug under the black tape using your nails, don't pull the cable! Close the back again and plug in your original adapter/charger that came with the laptop and try to start (push the power button). If that works you need to buy a new Acer Battery MURATA AP18C4k (31CP5/81/68), Li-Polymer Battery Pack 11.4V 13.05V 4200mAH, 48WH min. rated 3880mAH 44WH Acer part no.: KT00304012 AP18C4K(3ICP5/81/68) 93005226B101 ($50). Replace that with your old battery and you should be OK. Sorry about your broken USB 3.0 port.
