Display problem on primary screen acer 5742, on HDMI it displays after 40 sec

Hi everyone. I have acer 5742. Last night the display went blank. I turned it off. In the morning, I turned it on but no diplay on laptop screen. I attached an HDMI screen, the hdmi gives display after bios screen summery passes. I have w10 and linux. I can not select OS from menu as no display on primary and hdmi. Display starts on hdmi after 40 s3conds on hdmi but no display on laptop screen. No graphics, linux starts only in text mode and windows10 turns on the hdmi screen but no display.

Any suggestions please, I guess its bios problem. I reset it but to no avail. Cant go into bios settings.

VGA is ATi mobility radeon.

You have two VGAs. The integrated Intel CPU/GPU and a separate AMD GPU. The intel GPU should be default during BIOS post? Does the BIOS logo screen appear on the lid screen? Can you enter and see the BIOS menu when you tap F2 immediately after turning the laptop on?
