Hello everyone! I have an Acer nitro 5 laptop model AN515-58-54ES. I just wanted to know if other people have the same problem and what can be done about it to fix this problem. I started using the NVIDIA performance overlay. I played various games like Fortnite, euro truck simulator 2, Rocket league, world of tanks. In all of these games my settings are high which should work fine due to the specs of my laptop. The fps remains around 120 to 165 (the game's FPS limit is 165) because this is the refresh rate my screen has. It is very strange that 99% FPS sometimes drops to 40, 50, 60.80 while the normal frame rate remains at 120-165. When these dips occur in the 99% FPS section, small appears Stuttering .

The steps I have taken are:

Bios update

Installing the graphics card drivers to the latest version, I also tried to restore to the state that were installed at the factory, it did not help either.

Regards!

@Tokarpl3 check in the task manager to see if you have one or two RAM sticks installed. Usually, most laptops only come with a single stick of RAM and the performance will not be utilized 100%. Adding another same-capacity RAM stick will make the laptop run in Dual-Channel and boost the performance of about 10%

Thank you and have a nice day!
