Acer helios 300 freeze/ non responsive while beginning a game session!!?

Just bought this unit today, acer helios 300 i7-12700h with rtx 3070 ti 240h display, had some trouble updating windows as it prompt me with some errors towards the end, troubleshoot that, then nvidia driver had to be installed through the actual site, no biggie, however when I started gaming warzone right before matches begun the screen would just freeze, external mouse would stop working and keyboard functions were gone. Only way to get out of it was to hard power off the laptop, just becomes unresponsive, the touchpad mouse would work but cursor moved super slow and couldn’t do anything else with it, spend all day dealing with this issue, if anyone has any tips or could help I would appreciate it before I made the decision to just return this unit and replace with something else 😒

@Proa_09 you can try to switch this on this for updating some drivers from Windows Update.

If that still doesn't work, you can try Reset this PC to resolve some issues with the OS.

@AnhEZ28 hello, yes I tried that and also did a reset on the pc the issue still persisted, my best guess it’s an issue with the gpu/ defective hardware. Thanks will be exchanging the unit once to see if that will do it
