Acer Swift SF314-59 blue and orange lights keep blinking when charger is plugged in

This is Friday 10/21. Monday 10/17 I received my new Acer Swift 3 laptop that I ordered from Amazon. I set it up Monday afternoon. I noticed I didn't see the charging indicator on the battery icon after plugging in the charger. I thought maybe it didn't fit the charging pin so I tried moving it around. It finally came on. I let it charge up to 100% and unplugged it and shut it down. Here it's Friday after work and I wanted to try it out again. I noticed the charge was down to approx.. 40% even thought it had been off for 4 days.

Thought, that's odd, I'd better plug it in. Same thing happened. No charging indicator. Blue led was steady. I wiggled the connector again and I noticed both the orange and blue leds were blinking and the charging indicator never has come on this time.

Wondering if I should return it or is there something I need to reset?

Thanks in advance.

@gatormade it might be the bad charger. You can contact Amazon to see if they can replace the charger or the whole laptop with a different one.

Yes, sounds like the charger isn't working right. The power loss over time when shut down is often due to setting like Wake on LAN and Wake on Bluetooth where the laptop keeps those radios active even when 'off', so it can wake up as needed.
