Hello. I have this laptop since June 2019 and the videocamera had issues from the beggining... I reinstalled the camera, reset it but the problem persists. For photos it works fine but if i want to use it for a meeting/video call, Skype, Google Meet, etc the image comes out with blurry stripes and sometimes the image stops.

I believe is a problem on this particular type of laptop, but i would be glad i you could help me out because i don;t know what else could i do in order to use the camera at final exams and meeting calls.

Thank you in advance!!

  • This could be a fault in the edp cable. I suggest you disconnect the lition battery and the edp cable from the motherboard and display:

If it's only happening when streaming video with apps like Skype or Zoom it's not going to be an eDP cable issue. A bad cable would show effects regardless of the app running. Much more likely is too slow of an internet connection, next likely would be something running in the background causing issues with your internet speed, less likely would be an issue with the video drivers.
