Can anyone tell me if i can connect my bluetooth headphone to my acer aspire 5742G Laptop? I don't see any bluetooth in device manager.

Try the below steps
select Start > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices > Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth.

Able to see that your computer is compatible for bluetooth and it is present on your computer.

It depends on the headphones. As you can see above the Bluetooth on your laptop is version 3.0, and some newer headphones aren't fully backwards compatible.
