Is there an app to alert me when the battery is 100% charged?

I happen to notice the battery light is white but it could be several minutes before I do so. If there was an alert - like there is when the battery is very low - I could disconnect the plug and more importantly save on energy usage.

I tried one of the apps on the Microsoft Store but it did not work.

It'd help us to formulate an answer if we knew which computer you have. Most of the modern systems slow or stop charging when the battery is close to full automatically. A fully charged battery will sometime get Windows to give you the beep that's supposed to tell you when the charger disconnects or connects every few minutes and the charging circuit goes through to cycle.
