Aspire 3 A315-58G-54CY not updating frames when playing Galaxy Life (steam game)

So recently (august 2022) the game Galaxy Life was released on Steam. Since release, my new A315-58G-54CY has had the problem that the game freezes on a single frame, and only updates when I minimise/maximise the window. I've contacted the game devs but they say they can't do anything about it as it's likely a hardware issue. They also said it only occurs on laptops. Running the game in different compatibility modes doesn't work, and I've just updated my GeForce get ready now driver but that doesn't resolve the issue either. Does anyone know what I could do to get the game running like it should? S/N : NXADUEH0011441956B3400, OS: Windows 10 64-bit.

    >>>It was a generic GeForce Experience driver update, version 522.25.>>>

Go to this link , download, unzip and install the appropriate Sept Win10 VGA updates for the Acer-designed nvidia driver and utilities specific to your proprietary mainboard . See how those work.

No. Don't do it. The other Acer updates are mainly for fixing other issues. They might cause side effects in machines that don't have these other issues. You had VGA issues so the updates fixed them. If everything seems to work OK with no problems, don't try to fix the situation with updates that aren't needed. Anyway, congratulations on your success. Some games are apparently using the integrated UMA drivers now. Thanks for reporting back.

    1. What other steam games exhibit the same behavior?
    2. Was the update a generic driver from nvidia.
    3. Or a factory driver from Acer meant for your proprietary mainboard?

Thanks for responding! I hope the following information is helpful:

    1. None, Galaxy Life is the only game I've had this issue with. Though admittedly, I haven't played a lot of games yet, only Brawlhalla, Portal Reloaded, and Rocket League (which all run fine).
    2. It was a generic GeForce Experience driver update, version 522.25.

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with a lot of these software/hardware related terms. Could you tell me which ones specifically you are suggesting me to update? Because there's the 'VGA Driver(MX350)', the 'VGA Driver(UMA)', the 'VGA Driver(GeForce Experience)', the 'VGA Utility', and the 'VGA Utility(GeForce Experience)', and I have no clue as to what the differences between these are. Thanks in advance :)

Yes, you can download, unzip & try to install all VGA drivers with the 9/13/22 date stamp.

I installed the VGA Driver(MX350) and no succes, but after installing the VGA Driver(UMA), Galaxy Life finally runs as it should. Thank you so much!

Just in case, I'll still instal the others as well, can't hurt right? :)
