Acer Aspire vx5-591g-719k FPS drops after screen replacement and has driver problems.

Hello Acer Community, this is my first time posting here so please tell me if I've done something here.

Specs of laptop is i7 7700HQ 1050 4GB VRAM and 16GB of DDR4 RAM

Please keep it mind the resolution of the screen is 1366x768 because the 1080 screen broke and had to be replaced by 1366.

I will start with GPU and CPU problems, when it was passed down to me or given to me by my brother, we reset it and I mounted my hdd, I downloaded and played both Genshin Impact, Fallout 4 and Assassin's Creed Unity, it was running at stable 60 fps at high settings of ACU and ultra settings of Fallout 4, after playing for few days, the frames suddenly went from 60 to 25 to 35, and getting error of 0xc000007b, and I had to reset it from windows settings, I installed the aforementioned games again and the performance is still the same, after that I clean reinstalled the O.S using rufus (I downloaded the O.S from official windows), and installed everything again, games and drivers from windows update and downloaded the latest driver from nvidia, after testing the games the performance is still the same, unfortunately when I use the latest Intel Driver (the one that fixes the resolution) Genshin Impact won't display the game and only runs in the background, after 5 more installation of O.S and everything I realized to use the older driver of Intel and the rest is latest, fortunately when I used the old intel driver, Genshin worked properly but at only around 30fps same with Assassin's Creed Unity and Fallout 4. Since I've known the issue with intel driver, I experimented to use older driver from website of acer https://www.acer.com/us-en/support?search=72102179234;NH.GM2SP.006;VX5-591G&filter=global_download unfortunately the performance of the games is still the same and Genshin also run at around 25 to 35 fps.

When I try these "heavy games" I monitor the performance of the laptop through Window+G performance, the VRAM of 4GB it only uses upto 45% meaning it won't exceed 2GB since it only uses 1050 drivers.

Knowing that, I tried to install the 1050ti notebook drivers, but to no avail the the performance is still the same

Up until now it I've reinstalled my O.S for around 10 times already experimenting with drivers, and everything is still the same.

Yes, I've also tried experimenting with the power plan, I've actually tried running Skyrim Special Edition with 150+ mods that has graphic improvement, but it can only achieve 25 to 40 fps, with 70 to 80 percent of VRAM Usage.

I'm using msi afterburner and RivaTuner for monitoring. As for the antivirus I only use Windows Defender that "Controlled folder access" is turned off, since it affects with the game save files, as for temperature I'm getting 50ish to 72 Degree Celsius tops, when I'm playing The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, the cpu usage is above 90% so that gives the 72% degree usage but it only uses around 2.2GB of VRAM, it runs around 30 lowest to 40 fps (high settings at 1366x768), as of now I tested running fallout 4, it used 98% of GPU and 2.4GB of VRAM, at ultra settings in diamond city (same with witcher reso at 1366x768), but it maintained the 60fps for around 20 seconds, and it goes down to 50% usage of GPU (and same VRAM) but it's running at around 28 to 34 fps.

*addition, when I'm trying to overclock GPU using MSI after burner I set both MHz at 800 (1000 is the maximum) when I click the apply the MSI burner lags and laptop stopped responding.

OK! Temperatures are normal. Have you set the power plan to high performance and turned on the graphics settings?

happened to me, too. apparently it's a problem with driver and not hardware, thankfully. the solution for this to me are the following :

1. reinstall latest windows 10 (build 19044.2130).
2. then install latest intel driver (dch 31.0.101.2111, use have disk method if necessary).
3. last, install nvidia driver (notebook dch 522.25).

by now, you should've working nvidia driver. no need to install third party tools as you could've just use task manager. if it still doesn't work, gpu usage are still 50% or lower, you need to uninstall the graphic drivers using DDU and redo it again.

Yep! I've tried setting minimum performance at 10%, 50% and 70% (plugged in and unplugged settings) as well as setting the maximum performance of cpu between the numbers of 80% and 100% (each change I restarted my laptop just to be sure.

As for graphics settings (at settings) I've tried it on and off (restarted in each session) unfortunately the performance is still the same.

So I tested it on using that as for fallout 4 overlooking diamond city, it worked for a moment for about 5 seconds and it returned to 30% GPU Usage, and I tested it on Skyrim, Resident Evil 2 Remake, and the Witcher, it worsen the performance in those 3 games.

So I found the problem, ever since that I formatted back in October 4, I've tested everything as in EVERYTHING while my laptop is plugged in.

So just few minutes ago while typing this I was irritated earlier while playing Far Cry 4 at ultra settings, I was getting 12 to 15 fps at 28% GPU usage, and I unplugged it due to irritation and it went from 20+ to 70+ and topping to 98% of GPU usage.

In this discovery I changed the game to fallout 4 while I'm at Concord.26 fps at 52% GPU usage, and when unplugged 41fps to 58 fps at 99% GPU usage, it fluctuates but it's better than the 15 to 28 fps. here are the proofs.
