Acer XC-1660 Hard drive?

in Acer Software

I know this sounds like a strange question but does this PC tower have a hard drive?

I need to be able to install a program with a disk and have tried to find it. There is a place for it, but I cannot seem to open it.

Sorry but this is really irritating me and this is a very new machine to me.

    It depends on which SKU you have. They come in a bunch of different configurations. Some have a HDD, some a SSD, some both, and others add an ODD in as well. From your question, even though you call it a hard drive, you are actually asking about an optical drive, like a DVD? Most models don't have one installed, you either download the installer or install from a flash drive instead of using a DVD. If you have to have a DVD drive then just pick up an inexpensive external USB drive. They can be had for the $20-30 range fairly easily...

    Hi,

    Yes, it must have come with a 1TB M.2 SSD, go to Device Manager, expand Disk drives and check whether you have a 2.5" HDD listed.
