Wifi does not automatically reconnect after restarting the unit.

Basically when I turn on my laptop ( laptop is completely shut off then turned on) I will be able to automatically connect to wifi. In the bottom right corner there is a wifi symbol and I can see the wifi options, everything is fine. If I shut my laptop ( not turning it off just closing it.) There's a 50-50 chance the wifi will stop working. So if I open my laptop and look in the bottom right corner there is often a globe symbol instead of wifi, in fact the wifi option completely disappears. I have checked the network adapters when my wifi stops and have found that wireless network adapter ( Qualcomm atheros qca9377) has a yellow error triangle over it. I'm assuming this is the issue. How can I fix this? Should I uninstall and reinstall the network adapter? I usually just start my laptop and the wifi will come back but this had been happening for over 2 years and it's just a pain.

Thanks for any and all help.

Simply uninstall it whether or not it has yellow symbol. Then exit Device Manager without trying to re-install anything. Shut down Windows normally. Wait a minute or two. Then turn the back on and let Windows automaticaly re-detect the wifi card and automatically re-install fresh copies of the driver.

    Hi @Latopnoob

If that doesn't work then you can try to reset the laptop to check if that makes any difference.

Check the above link to do a reset.

NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before the reset.

Hope it will help you in some way.
