My laptop seems to be running fine but I'd like to know what drivers, etc. I need to install to keep my laptop updated. I used the Device manage and it shows no drivers need an update. I like to know what ones on the Acers page are safe to upgrade for the processor and audio, etc.

The best thing is to keep windows updated and also install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant and do a scan for all the latest Intel graphics and other of their drivers to be up to date, as that is essential. Also, and be aware that 4GB of ram is very low for today's applications and web usage and the Aspire A115-32-C44C laptop can take more ram of the type DDR4 PC4-25600 3200MHz SODIMM memory and comes OEM from Acer with 1x 4GB module. The low spec Celeron N4500 (base frequency 1.10 GHz/bust at 2.80 GHz, 2 core 2 threads, 4 MB L3 Cache, TPD 6 W with the integrated Intel UHD Graphics is not a speed freak in regard to performance 😀 but you can make this laptop perform allot better with certain upgrades like more ram, which would greatly assist the cpu with additional ram. You can upgrade your Acer Aspire A115-32-C44C laptop to and up to a maximum memory capacity of 16GB Memory into its 2x memory slots with 2x 8GB modules, I suggest that you do a Crucial System Scan as that will tell you about the best upgrades for this laptop for every budget.

If you want to upgrade to Win-11, which this laptops Celeron N4500 and its TPM is compatible with Win-11, then I would suggest that you do a "Clean Install" of Win-11 and also you will need to upgrade the bios to the last listed and Dated: 2022/09/23, version 1.17 titled "1. Support Win11 SV2" bios upgrade. Be warned, that if you haven't done a bios update or are not computer savvy, I would suggest that you get an experienced tech to do all this for you, as and if its done incorrectly, you could brick your laptops and Acer warns users the following "Upgrading your system BIOS incorrectly could harm your Acer product. Please proceed with caution". Good luck and hope this helps you out.

I'm running the latest version of Windows 11 Home. I ran the Intell driver and Support assistant and it says I have one driver update. I ran it 2 times but it wouldn't install. I'm aware of the memory upgrade. I don't know if I should upgrade the touchpad drives since Acer doesn't have any automatic driver scans.

Windows Update will either install new drivers automatically or put them into optional updates. Which driver did ID&SA have troubles with?

I'm all caught up on windows updates. The tool worked this time and updated my graphics driver. Thanks for replying. Everything seems to be ok.
