How is your experience with the new windows 11 22H2 on your Acer Aspire 7 Gaming Laptop?

I keep getting windows 11 upgrade notifications, but I am hesitant to upgrade due to all the nasty bugs. But I heard the they squished many of these bugs and added good old features in the Windows 11 22H2 version. If any of you is using this version on an Acer Aspire 7 gaming laptop, let me know your experience. Thanks!

Please try to update it.. It should work fine

Even if you dont like it you can always revert back to the old setup.

After the update , if the computer is not working fine you can always do a system restore to restore your computer to an earlier date on which it was working fine.

These are the steps to peform a system restore.

    Try windows x

click on power shell admin or command prompt admin

    type rstrui

chose an earlier date on which your computer was working fine

    click on next, finish, yes

It will restore your computer to an earlier date

if you get an message - system restore not completed - click on close

It will show you all the icons..

Try and check whether it is working now ..

Thanks for your answer William. I think I should have added more info in my description. I had already tried Windows 11, but it has been a buggy experience. But the 22H2 version looks promising. I am just looking for other individual experiences before I feel adventurous and try it myself.

I understand you say "But the 22H2 version looks promising"

The user experience will vary from user to user as the updates are being run on different computers released by different vendors. It is run on different motherboards manufactured by different vendors and people are using different components on their computers.

Since you say it is promising please continue to use it. Before releasing the update , microsoft would have done a lot of research and would have ensured that it is working fine on all the computers. But if they find any bugs they will be releasing new updates without bugs in the near future.

    Happy Computing!!!!!!
