I would like to upgrade my Aspire TC-380 with a new processor and add a second SSD, but I need the MBs specs to check the compability of new hardware.

A search of Acer's site produced nothing useful and many google searches yielded similar results.

If anyone knows (especially an Acer tecnician) where I can find the MB's specs, please reply to this post. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance R.

The mainboard will accept 3200MHz dimms but will operate at 2400MHz maximum speed allowed by its RAM buss. Up to 64GB by following the population rules shown below. There are two m.2 SSD card sockets at least one of which should be M-key and should accept an PCIe v3 NVME card like the WesternDigital blue series up to 2TB without issues .

Yes, you should be able to use AMD RavenRidge 2000 series Ryzen3 or Ryzen5 quad core CPUs with the AM4 socket. The recommended processors are shown below. While both CPUs have similar performance, the Ryzen5 has a better GPU.
