Hey, I have an Acer Aspire Tc-885. And wos wondering if i would still get the same memory read and write speed with a PCIe 3.0 socet with a PCIe 4.0 chip.

Yes, you can install a Gen 4 SSD in a Gen3 motherboard, the speed of the Gen 4 SSD will be limitted to Gen 3 SSD speeds.
