A317-51G-508V mvme port is PCIe Gen3x2 or PCIe Gen3x4?

A317-51G-508V mvme port is PCIe Gen3x2 or PCIe Gen3x4 ?

My A317-51G-508V currently use

Western Digital PC SN520 NVMe SSD SDAPNUW-256G M.2 2280 S3-B-M      PCIe Gen3x2 M.2 2280 NVMe v1.3

so surly  PCIe Gen3x2 but i would like to upgrade, is the A317-51G-508V laptop compatible with this?

512gb MSI Spatium M390 NVMe M.2 GEN3 SSD meghajtó (S78-440K070-P83)   PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 NVMe V1.4

run this laptop with 512gb? Or 512 will not work, or 512 will work but gen3x4 only in half speed?

I do not find motherboard information :-(

other intersting question for me is what is maximum ram for this type 4 gb soldered+8 or 16 gb?

Hi,

You have a PCIe Gen 3x2 slot in this model, you can use a PCIe Gen 3x4 SSD but it will run half the speed advertised, as for the memory upgrade, you can install a 16GB to make the maximum memory of 20GB(4GB onboard+16GB).
