ASPIRE 5100 The serial number is not determined on the official website and the utility

I'm seeing some weirdness with acer official website, when i tried to find drivers for my laptop i entered my SNID serial number, but it didn't match. Then I downloaded the serial number auto-detection utility (more precisely, I downloaded it first) but it did not give any result, the Serial number and SNID columns were empty and the model was listed as Acer Navarro. Of course, this is not critical, I just entered my model number manually on the site (by the way, there is no Aspire 5100, there is only 5110), but I'm just wondering why such a strange thing happened with the serial number and whether it happened to anyone else.

SNIDs usually don't work for machines that are more than 10 years old or no longer under warranty. The Aspire 5100 series drivers were mainly for Win7 installations which is no longer supported. If you still have internet access, you can download and try iobit's Driver Booster freeware to see if it can find any better drivers on line for whatever Windows version you're trying to run now.
