I have model Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58-55RH. I got the error in the title when I tried to upgrade my BIOS to version 1.10. I did not fully understand the solution video I found on the Internet, it was not very explanatory. The solution explanation in the video is as follows:

Open Command Prompt as administrator

Run mountvol y: /s to mount the EFI partition (drive letter may be different)

Go to /efi/microsoft/boot/fonts

Drill all the fonts Microsoft left behind. Delete with the command

Reboot and run the BIOS update That's it! Insyde BIOS update will now run smoothly at system boot

The first item is ok, but what should we do in the 2nd item? When I type mountvol y:/s nothing happens.

When I open the command system, only "C:\Windows\system32>" appears. What should I type AFTER that? Can you explain step by step? Or is there another solution?

BIOS updates are mainly meant for laptops that have a serious problem. What problem are you trying to fix?
