I bought a Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-54-59A8) about two years ago and it ran well, but recently I've been getting a problem where I both my mouse and mousepad won't work I click any buttons nor move the cursor but every thing else fine I can type and it happens rarely and it's fixed when I restart my computer but I still would rather not have to restart my computer whenever it happens. I don't know if it's a hardware or a virus or somethings stupid I don't realize, but if anybody knows anything that'd be great thanks.

Is your laptop completely up to date with WU and all updates? Are there any conflicting drivers in Device Manager? Try to systematically uninstall (not completely) in Device Manager the Keyboards drivers first and then do a Scan for system changes straight after that, do the same with the Mice and other pointing device and see if that fixes your freezing problems. If not then undo the back cover and take the main and bios battery out and leave them disconnected for 5min and then reconnect both batteries, as that will do a hard reset of your laptop which should fix this problem, if not then there must a either a hardware issue of a cable connection issues that need looking at.
