How can I install win 10 on ph317-52?

Hey,

Here is my problem with installing win10 on my predator: I recently experienced one of a kind problems, which lead me to GPU problems, so I have turned the pc to a shop for check, but got it back with no hardware problems, and the problem still existing. They have suggested me to reinstall windows on a spare SSD (which they gave me, and its not an M2), so I can test out is it a software error or not. So I have got my pendrive with the win10 install files on it, but I cant get the BIOS to show me boot order, nor can I switch UEFI to LEGACY. I have watched a video about a guy installing win with disabling safe boot, enabling F12 boot, and setting a supervisor password. The result was negative sadly, and after rebooting the device I have got the boot list menu using F12, but it had no actual device in the list at all.

So if you have any idea, how could I install win10 on the spare SSD, I would love to hear them.

Some more notes: the service checked all my drivers, windows and bios. All are up to date. I have also checked directx 12 and it works just fine (dxdiag and at screen 1 and 2 all three "options" were enabled

Hi! What happened to the gpu? What appears when you press alt+f10 before the acer logo?

Well, the more dependent games, like Elden Ring, etc. are just crash out, and lighter games like LoL are running, but the shadows and some colours are glitching.

To answer to your alt+f10 question, it brings up the normal windows recovery (?) options.

Since than the error's source has been find. One of the VRAM chunks died on me, and the possible reason for that is I have tweeked a little on the predator sense OC values by following the video listed in one of the pinned topics at this forum. I dudnt trust those hughe increases in %, so I set my settings way below them, but it still was enough to kill that one chunk of VRAM

Thanks! This way I can install win, but the problem was with a brand new ssd. My programmer college tried to install it, and the installer didnt recognise the ssd, even the one I use normally.

But since the error comes from a VRAM chunk being dead, the reinstall isnt needed.

This is weird. The ssd was showing up in the info tab, see:

Did you have the chipset driver?

Well, I dont really know, honestly. My college downloaded this file package: F6flpy-x64 (Intel® VMD), and he said it still didnt work as intended (he is a programmer).
