Unit does not power on AN515-57. Should i just return it?

So, I bought a new nitro AN515-57 on amazon and i got it yesterday, and now after a day while i am using it, it just turned off and cant turn back on and even when i tried charging it the indicator doesn't even lit up. Now i dont know what to do (also pardon my grammar)

Your machine is under warranty, so I suggest to return it.

okay, i talked to the customer service and they told me to wait for a technician to come and analyse the problem and after that i will be able to replace it with a new one.

They said there are phases or something.. like Phase one is where you contact customer service, two is where the technician checks the product, three is the replacement of the product.

My problem is, I'm not sure how the amazon replacement/return process works (it's my first time trying to return a product) ... they told me the technician would take about 2-4 days but it's already been 2 days since i got the laptop

and the warranty for returning is a week... what would happen if the technician or the returning process takes too long exceeding the time for the return policy... will i still be able to return it? although this is acer support/community. I am asking it here because no one answered me when i post it on amazon, I will be very grateful if anyone can answer me... again.

Hi! I suggest you take a screenshot of the conversations and keep them as evidence. About your problem, try resetting the battery first, to see if it solves the problem: turn off the computer, unplug the power adapter, press the power button for thirty seconds and leave the computer off for half an hour.
