Hello! Last August 26, 2022, I took my Acer Aspire A314-22 to the technician. The technician advised disconnecting the battery because it bloated, and since I don't have enough funds to purchase a replacement, he assured me that I could still use it by simply plugging it in, which is perfectly alright. My charger, however, was also found to be broken. This time, I will definitely buy a replacement. I need it for my laptop to function.
Today, though, I think both the USB ports and the power adapter port have issues. The charger doesn't charge quickly when I plug it in; I have to unplug it and replug it before it turns on. Every time I connect my mouse or keyboard to the USB ports, it automatically disconnects and reconnects itself.
Genuine question: Can I bring my laptop back to the technician and request to change the ports on it? If they change it, do I have to pay for it or is it still covered by the parts warranty?
