    Disk0 file system has been corrupted. Do you have any data on it that you want to try to recover?

    @Trackerskill13,

    sorry, but I don't understand what you want to do with your new hard drive.

    OK. Good. Follow this procedure

    (1) Search 'cmd' in Windows start menu.

    (2) Right click command prompt near top of menu.

    (3) Click run as administrator.

    (4) Enter 'diskpart'

    (5) At the DiskPart> prompt enter 'list disk'

    (6) Then enter 'list volume'

    Then post a screenshot of the DiskPart results if possible

    DiskPart looks OK except the new D : \ drive Disk0 is MBR partitioned. Which should not be causing corruption as reported by Disk Manager. Just accessing the drive with DiskPart might've fixed the GUI issue. So for now let's exit DiskPart by entering 'exit'. Then exit the command prompt. Then press WIN+R. Enter 'diskmgmt.msc'. Please post the screenshot again. If the same RAW filesystem corruption, Then open FileExplorer and see if you can access the D : \ drive.

    Looks OK to me. Doesn't have any files on it yet. Try opening File Explorer to access the D : \, not Task Manager. It should be empty.

    That's because D : \ is empty. No files, no programs, no apps, no folders have been put in it yet. It's like an empty filing cabinet. Plenty of space for all these things. But you haven't put anything in it yet. Would you like to put something in the D : \ filing cabinet that you can see?

    I returned. I was helping the user on another thread. It looks like it wants disk 0 to be the primary partition with the OS installed. Before, disk 0 was set to RAW and it solved the problem. Disk 1 was now configured as dynamic disk. As I had said in the other thread, it needs to backup the operating system and personal files, to convert disk 1 to basic again. Then he can use the operating system backup to install windows on disk 0:

    I don't think there's a problem anymore. The system boots fine and the D : \ drive seems ready to store files and folders from File Explore. See below. I suspect the user is not familiar with File Explore. Also, I'd probably leave the dynamic disk as is if all works OK. It can be changed back with 3rd party partition managers without losing data or reinstalling the OS but may not be necessary.
