Acer Recovery - how to revert to factory image (AN515-58)

Hi,

I re-installed my pre-installed Win11 Nitro with Windows 10 (made with the media creation tool from MS), decided to move back to 11 for various reasons, but noticed there's no longer a recovery partition (when I installed 10 I removed all paritions in the Windows installer). Is there a way of getting this back as it obviously included all pre-installed Acer apps or other trial/freeware etc.

Regards,

Did you double-check recovery by trying the ALT+F10 cold boot reset method? Make sure the D2D recovery option is enabled in the BIOS.

Thanks for replying. Yeah i've tried holding alt+f10 at cold boot. The d2d option is already enabled.

OK, if you're in the US or Canada, you should be able to order the factory OEM Win11 recovery USB from the Acer store based on your machine's serial number id(SNID). Cost about $40-50 . If you're outside the US, you might be able to get it from an authorized Acer service center by clicking on this link, choosing the country of purchase, clicking the support button near the top of the country page, then look for a service center near the bottom of the support page.

Otherwise, you can use the Microsoft USB media creation tool again to install the generic Win11 version, then download any drivers needed from the Acer downloads site or using driver freeware tools like iobit's DriverBooster.
