Hi, first time asking here so apologies if I'm wrong somewhere. I have an Acer Aspire A715-42G Ryzen5 5500u 16GB variant Nvidia GTX1650 laptop. I bought it last year around april with 2 year extended warranty. Lately, I have been facing some issues with the battery draining quite quickly in around 1.5-2hrs. Earlier it used to run at around 6-7 hrs with normal usage(browsing & stuff).

I ran some checks using hwinfo64 app and the battery report in Windows 10 which are attached below. The battery wear shown in hwinfo is 61%.I had three questions:1) Should I get the battery replaced and 2) If I were to get it replaced, is it covered under extended warranty policy? 3) What else should I do to atleast prolong the degrading battery ? (currently I am using the 80% charging limit in Acer Care Center app)

Thanks in adance!!!

At a battery wear of 61%, your battery is used up and it is recommended to replace it with a new one. For warranty, it is best to go to the support page of your country and contact the support. To keep the battery healthy, charge and discharge your battery regularly (charge to 100%, then disconnect the adapter and discharge to 10-20%) and do not leave your device with built-in battery connected to the power supply all the time. If you charge to 80%, you can not use the full capacity of the battery and you need to charge more often. If you charge 4x up to 100% and 5x up to 80%, you have in both cases 4 full charge cycles.
