Hello, I wanted to use my headset microphone on my Acer Aspire E5-573, to have more quality, however, it only has 1 input, so I bought an adapter, I tested it but it didn't work either, is there any way to put the headset microphone on this notebook, if so how?

What brand and model headset are you trying to use? You must a standard TRRS headset plug design as shown below for the microphone to work. You cannot use a nokia cellphone type headset for the microphone to work.

If 573G is the similar to the plain 573 then you have the combo audio jack.

    You don't need a splitter.

You are already using your headset mic, you just don't realize it.

Plug in your headset, the computer will prompt "which device did you plug in", select headset. That's it, you are using the headset mic.

Lightly tap your headset mic and you should see the meter jumps thus verifying that you are using the headset mic.
