My Acer Nitro 5 model AN515-55 , comes with 256ssd and 1TB hdd. When I try to use ahci it only shows 256ssd and not showing the 1tb hdd which contains important files of my work. How can I get the other disk also to be accessable using AHCI.

It's my disk management. Disk 0 is not showing in ahci mode.

Thanks in advance

    1. First change BIOS back to VMD or iRST mode from ACHI
    2. Make sure system still boots up OK and HDD is visible again
    3. Press WIN+R. Enter 'msconfig'
    4. In the boot tab, checkmark boot into safe mode.
    5. Shut down Windows normally.
    6. Turn machine back on and immediately tap F2 to enter BIOS menu
    7. Change SATA mode form VMD or iRST to AHCI
    8. Save BIOS settings and exit to boot into Safe Mode
    9. Check that HDD is now visible again in Safe Mode
    10. Press WIN+R. Enter 'msconfig'
    11. In the boot tab uncheck the box for Safe Mode
    12. Shut down Windows normally
    13. Turn it back on to boot into regular Windows
    14. HDD should now be visible again in AHCI mode
