Helios 700 temps on some games

I was just playing Forza Horizon 5 on my Predator Helios 700 (with drifted keyboard, fans auto) [high/ultra] and I noticed high temps, especially on cpu, I attach screenshot of it, which was around 80 (72 - 85 range mainly) and sometimes would even go 90+ (when loading). I wonder whether this is normal or not. I have seen some benchmarks of this game with similar settings on Helios 300 and cpu temps there were stably under 80 (70-77 range). This is a bit frustrating, as Helios 700 is supposed to have better thermals than Helios 300. What can be wrong?

I have tried also GOW (with drifted keyboard, fans auto) (high settings) and it was normal compared to this, 70-80 range, sometimes 60-70, never going above 90.

Also playing Dota 2 on max settings (with drifted keyboard, fans auto) , cpu temps are in 72-85 range. Is this high for it?

Brief CPU temps between 90-94*C are OK. But GPU temps should be below about 85*C.

What is the exact model of your Helios 700? Is it the PH717, PH517 or PH317? As all these different models have different cpu/gpu specs and different temp limits, so and as to give you any accurate temp limits you need to give us the exact Helios 700 model number e.g. is it the Helios PH717-71 with the i9-9980HK or the i7-9750H as these cpu's max temp quoted by Intel is 100c before the cpu is prone to damage as Acer sets the max lower and your laptop turns off temps for the manufacturers to limit, which Acer has for your laptop. The i9-9980HK or the i7-9750H should really be operated between 85c-90c max temps as anything above those temps the cpu just throttles and is useless as Intel mainly quotes their max cpu's specs when environment's are ideal e.g. the i9-9980HK reaches its 5.0 GHz only using the "Thermal Velocity Boost" which allows one core to boost to 5 GHz (+100 MHz) as long as the CPU temperature is below 50°C., so these cpu's have to be kept at low temps to ever achieve their quoted max performances by Intel or to utilise their max performance specs.

Your temps of 76c cpu and 68c gpu when playing these high demanding games are normal, as I would only really get worried if your temps get above 90c but, this is only if these temps are there continually and not just for a split seconds in these high end gaming environments as they should get lower.. Also and if your laptop reaches its critical cpu/gpu temps then the laptop will turn off to protect the cpu/gpu and laptop components as Acer sets these temps as a safety for your laptop, which should be at around 97c and then the laptop will turn off.

Btw, I would also disassemble the laptop and change the cpu/gpu paste and clean the fans and all vents of your laptop and do this regularly. Use either a high end normal paste or even a better solution for "High End Gaming" is to use a "Liquid Metal" paste if your temps get above 80-85c constantly and you play intensive hard core games as this paste will reduce temps by up to 10c but needs reapplication more than normal pastes. But and be warned, as with a liquid metal paste and if its applied excessively and NOT to the manufacturers exact instructions, it will spread to surrounding cpu/gpu circuitries of the mobo and it will short and destroy your laptops mobo beyond repair, so be careful and follow the manufacturers exact application guides.

Also, I would strongly recommend that you either buy or you can build (if you are technically minded as there are designs out there) a high end tablet cooler as they also work very well in dispersing your laptops heat.
